Daily Prayer For Market Traders

Lord, I come to you in the name of Jesus.  I thank you for His blood, shed for me, and for your new life pouring into my life as a result of the greatest gift of all time.   I thank you that you've called me to market trading.  You've made me more than a conqueror, and I can do all things through You because You strengthen me.

Today I come to you, realizing that in my old nature, I am very weak and vulnerable.  I have the capacity to be impatient, too aggressive, a fighter, a chaser and lacking in wisdom.  In my old self, I don't know when to let go, when to back off, when to wait and when to attack.  I can become addicted to market trading.  Therefore, I'm depending fully on your Holy Spirit to lead and guide me today.  Fill me with your knowledge, your wisdom, your strength and your distinct qualities.  Make me a master trader as I trade with and for my master.

Father, I die to my old self, my old ways and habits, my addictions, my need to be right, my desire to be "self made", my aggressive behaviors and my analytical powers.  Help me to trust in your rhythm and teach me the ways of men and serpents, yet make me as harmless as a dove while I learn.

I ask you to help me not to over trade, but to take only the best, lowest risk and highest potential trades with great patience and ease.  Alongside the training that I have received, I ask you Holy Spirit to speak to me and give me guidance in all of my trading.

I recognize that I'm being trained for the land of promise, Canaan , the land of merchant traffic.  Help me to stay true and focused on the commands of Joshua/Jesus.  Help me to obey the rules and to only do that which I'm supposed to.  Let me not add to or take away from the commands of my trading system as Achan did with the Babylonian robe.  My hands are your hands, my mouse is your mouse and my charts are your charts.  I know that success comes by following You and You alone.

This is a good day to watch the markets, and if you show me an opportunity, I'll gladly take it for your Kingdom and your glory.  In Jesus' name, Amen.
